The purpose of the Campus Venue Guidelines is to ensure that all users understand the rules and expectations for using the TransAlta Performing Arts Studios and other Campus spaces. These guidelines cover building access, footwear, studio and common areas, change rooms, reception desk, lost and found, equipment rentals, damages and fees, emergency procedures, and parking.
These guidelines apply to all users of the Campus at Stampede Park, including internal programs, external rentals, and guests. All individuals and organizations must adhere to the rules outlined to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
1.1 - The TransAlta Performing Arts Studios is located next to public pathways, as such, all doors including the Main Entrance Doors MUST remain locked at all times.
1.1.1 - If doors are left unlocked, a representative of the renting organization must be physically present at or around the reception desk during this time.
1.1.2 - A hex-key to unlock the lower doors is located above north facing doors.
1.2 - From time to time the front vestibule may have separate operating guidelines based on third party venue rentals.
1.3 - All key-fobs requests must be made through an organizations manager/director.
1.3.1 - Key-fobs requests may take up to 14 days to process.
1.4 - Individual key-fob holders are responsible cost of lost fobs.
1.5 - Metal-key holders may be responsible for re-keying the doors of lost metal-keys.
2.1 - Upon entry to the venue, all users must remove their shoes.
2.1.1 - If a person is not entering any of the studios, they do not need to take off their footwear (For example, the offices or the reception desk).
2.1.2 - All footwear must be kept in the boot rack provided.
2.1.2.1 - Footwear can not block any door, or obstruct access to/from the building.
2.1.3 - If someone does not want to take off their footwear , protective covers can be provided. (Stored in photo copy room).
